My brain tends to spill its thoughts while typing, hence the personal entries.

“Take courage; Get up. He is calling you.” 

Upon hearing this, a blind man walked to Him, and was healed. The Lord even said that his faith was the one that saved him. (Story on Mark 10:46-52)

How can we acquire such blessing from Him? Well, the disciples made a bold statement in Mark 10:49 (NAB):

Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind

man, saying to him “Take courage; get up, He is calling you.”

• Take courage - do not be dissuaded by people who are getting in your way to be healed. Be persistent in achieving your goal and proclaim His glory, and He surely will notice that.
• Get up - after the way had been clear, do not stay stagnant in your position. Leave your current space, and present yourself to Him.
• He is calling you - this is our mission, to fulfill His command by coming to Him. This might be through a simple prayer, or works of faith.

Many people (or situations) that will leave us thinking that He is unreachable. But do not remain in this state, for the Lord knows that with faith, anything is possible.

Contemplate with what Bartimaeus had done, and pursue Him actively. He will reward a follower with a faithful and persevering heart.

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13) 

10 reasons I love God.

1. He gave me an undeserved life.
2. He has always loved me and always will.
3. Whenever i need Him, He is always there.
4. He gave His one and only son so i could live.
5. He gives me food, water, and shelter.
6. He made me special in a sea of people.
7. He gave me free will.
8. He made a beautiful world.
9. His forgiveness amazes me.
10. And last, He knows what is best for me.

Problematic? He already solved it! 

“I have told you this so that you might have peace in me.

In the world you will have troubles,

but take COURAGE,

I have conquered the world.” John 16:33 (NAB) 03-15-12

Troubled times will always be there to test us. Alone, we cannot face these situations. But the Lord wants His people to trust in Him, and have peace in their hearts. So He sent His Son to release us from a cursed life.

We must understand that Jesus is already victorious in His mission (in saving us from our sins), and we must believe in this and continue to be victors.

Courage from Him will make us conquerors of the world.

John 15:9 

“As the Father loves me, so I also love YOU. Remain in my love.”  (NAB)

I had this devotional last March 12. The Father, as we all know, had loved Jesus that He chose Him as the savior, and not just any creature He had produced. If He loves Jesus this much, it is said that Jesus also loves us the same way. He loves us like the Father loves His only Son. 

He wants us to be in His ward and stay with Him to accept his passionate love. So, let us not stray way from His love, for it is inexhaustible, genuine and great.

Let us remain faithful to the one that loves us passionately, and return it with a pure heart and good deeds.
